Church Music>>>
For Christmas of 2006, I recorded my Vicksburg choir's Christmas performance.  It was mindnumbingly challenging and time consuming.  Yet, I found it highly rewarding.  It allowed me to stretch my creative muscles.  As a bit of a teaser, below you will find the CD insert along with several selections from the CD.
God's Beloved One

approx 2:24 min.    (2351 KB)  performed by St. Michael's Catholic Church 8:30 Mass Choir

Night of Slience/Silent Night

approx 4:14 min.   (4127 KB)  performed by St. Michael's Catholic Church 8:30 Mass Choir

Battalio Gloria

approx 2:45 min.     (2376 KB)

Here is a copy of my Gloria.  I was asked by my choir in Vicksburg to write a Gloria.  What you'll see is a pdf of the opening refrain for vocalists.  If you send me an e-mail at michael[at]battalio[dot]com, I'll happily send you the piano, guitar, and violin parts.

A Battalio Christmas:

For my Christmas gift to everyone I decided to record some Christmas songs and mail them out to everyone.  On the CD:

O Come, All Ye Faithful It Came Upon the Midnight Clear
We Three Kings of Orient Are Hark! The Herald Angels Sing
What Child is This? Away in a Manger
Angels We Have Heard on High Silent Night
O Little Town of Bethlehem Joy to the World
Lo, How Are Rose Canon in D
